While some music scholarships carry additional criteria, all music majors receiving music scholarships are expected to:

1. Declare status as a music major.
2. Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
3. Enroll in their major ensemble every fall and spring semester (exception: music education majors in their professional semester).
4. Enroll in applied studio instruction for their area of primary specialization and MUSC 2880, recital attendance, every fall and spring semester (exception: music education majors in their professional semester).
5. Maintain full-time status (12-18 hours) every fall and spring semester.
6. Demonstrate Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
